Description: A Victorian gothick ivory-covered wood casket, raised on iron paw-feet with further elaborate ironwork hinges and handles and an iron otter-form hasp. The ivory decoration on the lower register with panels carved with meadieaval figures relaxing and playing music in garden settings. The upper part covered with ivory panels of scrolling ivy foliage around armorial shields.
